Layman's summary: This project is part of the developments of the Excom-Siroco Planning model (ExSP), which allows for the operation planning of Endesa's entire generation portfolio in the Iberian Peninsula, considering both the energy market and the secondary regulation reserve market. The modeling of the generation units is done with a high level of detail (thermal units and hydro turbines) and is coordinated with other models developed by the same IIT team (EXCOM and EXLA models). This collaboration includes the possibility of providing regulation capacity through renewable assets.
